Condor expands long-haul fleet: 13th long-haul aircraft takes up service

The 13th Boeing 767 with registration D-ABUS has been added to Condor’s long-haul fleet. On 4 July 2015, the aircraft with flight number DE6060 will take off from Frankfurt (FRA) to Toronto (YYZ), Canada, on its first passenger service for the leisure airline. The aircraft was built in 2001 and has been equipped with a completely new cabin with a new business class, as has the rest of the Condor fleet: All 259 seats provide state-of-the-art in-seat entertainment offering passengers the option to select their programme according to own preferences.
“Condor is busy growing: At the beginning of June we integrated a brand new Airbus A321-211 into our fleet, and now another long-haul aircraft is being added. This is already our fourth additional Boeing 767 since 2011,” says Ralf Teckentrup, Managing Director of Condor Flugdienst GmbH. “Our route network is also growing accordingly. Since June, we have been offering direct service from Frankfurt to Portland, Oregon and Providence, Rhode Island. Our services from Munich will be extended in the summer of 2016, with new services, for example to Halifax, Canada, and Windhoek, Namibia.”
