For the fifth time in succession, Condor has received the golden seal “Best Employer” of the magazine FOCUS Business. Thus, Condor is not just popular among the many guests on board: Its employees also issue a positive report on the leisure airline. Each year, FOCUS Business, together with job portals Xing and kununu.com, announces Germany’s most popular employers and it distinguished Condor among more than 2,000 companies.
Both in the “transport and logistics” sector and in the “catering, hotel, entertainment, fitness and tourism” sector, Condor achieved top rankings and was far ahead of competitors such as Lufthansa and TUI. Condor is thus the best employer of all German airlines.
“We are very pleased with this award and we thank all our employees for it. A good work climate and solidarity with each other makes Condor stand out and this award shows that our employees see it that way as well,” says Alexandra von Mansberg-Haag, Head of Human Resources at Condor. “All Condor colleagues work together to make our company better. This “Condor spirit” motivates everyone and our customers are pleased about the little courtesies that result from it.”
In addition, Condor was awarded the Deutschlandtest seal “Happy Brand 2017” and rewarded for “sustainable engagement” by the magazines FOCUS and FOCUS Money. For the Happy Brand award, 13.9 million statements found on the internet about 1,500 brands were assessed. It measures how heavily brands make people happy and is a particularly important award for a leisure airline such as Condor. The “sustainable engagement” award is based on a consumer survey representative of the population and assesses the ecologically and economically responsible actions of companies.
Handelsblatt issued a further award to Condor for an excellent cost-benefit ratio. Thus the total number of awards that Condor has received this year so far rises to 15.
