The leisure airline Condor is introducing "Economy Light" as its new low starting rate on short- and medium-haul flights. From November 24, 2014, Condor passengers will be able to choose from three options: Economy Light, Economy and Premium Economy.
New Economy Light includes six kilogram of hand luggage with no checked luggage. The catering offer remains the same, and consists of a snack plus water, coffee and tea. Economy includes 20 kilogramm of checked luggage per person, as before. Premium Economy offers the extra service with an unoccupied middle seat, a selected Premium Meal, extended service offer and now also with an increased hand of 8 kilogramm and a checked baggage allowance of 25 kilogramm.
"We regularly carry out on-board surveys, and they show us quite clearly how our passengers' wishes are changing. That is why we now provide an inexpensive offer for all those who want a holiday flight at a low price without lots of extras. The new pricing structure enables customers to create their Condor flight even more flexibly and to suit their own personal needs and requirements. That's Condor 'My Way'," sums up Condor Managing Director Ralf Teckentrup. "Our passengers are able to choose the on-board service that suits them, and save money where they want to.
"The new Plus Option gives travelers who appreciate having a flexible booking more flexible conditions for changing and canceling their flight, whatever the route. For a charge of €30 on short- and medium-haul flights, and €60 on long-haul flights, passengers can change their flights free of charge three times up to 24 hours before departure, and in the event of cancellation up to 29 days before departure the full price of the ticket will be refunded.
One-way all-inclusive flights can be booked at Condor's Economy Light rate from €39.99.The new pricing structure applies for bookings made through <link http: www.condor.com external-link-new-window external link in new>www.condor.com, at the Condor Service Center or through a travel agent with a Condor agency. Passengers who book a Condor flight as part of an all-inclusive arrangement through an agent are bound to that agent's conditions.
