Condor A330neo inaugural passenger flight takes off

December 27, 2022 - Welcome aboard: today, Tuesday, the first Condor A330neo took off on its commercial maiden flight. At around 4:10 p.m., the aircraft, registered D-ANRA, took off from Frankfurt Airport bound for Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. In Mauritius, the aircraft will then be received at the airport during a small ceremony.

On board the fully booked flight, guests enjoyed the new Condor long-haul product for the first time. On board the new Condor long-haul product, guests in all three classes - Business Class, Premium Economy Class, Economy Class - can expect maximum efficiency as well as maximum comfort with many new features. These include even more comfort, first-class in-flight entertainment in the best 4K resolution and a timelessly elegant design with many details.

Further A330neo aircraft to follow

Last Monday, the first of 18 new A330-900neo long-haul aircraft was transferred from Toulouse to Frankfurt. The final work and checks were then carried out on site in Frankfurt, where a media and employee event was held to present the Condor aircraft of this type for the first time. With immediate effect, an average of one new A330neo will join the Condor fleet, replacing the existing B767-300s.
