In addition, Germany’s favourite leisure airline is offering more departures to Cancun, Mauritius and Punta Cana from the southern German metropolis. From Frankfurt, Condor will start to fly to Fort-de-France on Martinique, a French island in the Caribbean.

“We have continuously expanded our long-haul routes from Munich in recent years. Compared to this winter, we will be doubling our offer in winter 2016/17. This is possible thanks to three new long-haul aircraft which will be added to our fleet in 2016. For our customer this means a wider selection of travel destinations as well as more flexibility with holiday planning, since we will be flying to existing destinations more frequently,” explains Ralf Teckentrup, Chief Commercial Officer of Thomas Cook Group Airlines and CEO of Condor.

Dr. Michael Kerkloh, President and CEO of Flughafen München GmbH, adds: “We are of course very pleased that Condor is significantly expanding its long-haul offer in Munich in the following winter season. Our passengers now have new connections and more flights to very attractive holiday destinations. Condor’s commitment to our airport demonstrates once again the high level of confidence the airline has placed in Munich. We, too, are convinced that Condor will be very successful with its comprehensive long-haul offer from our city.”

With a total of 52 flights to the Caribbean per week from Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna in winter 2016/17, Condor will offer by far the largest selection of flights in the German-speaking market to this popular holiday destination. Fort-de-France on the French Caribbean island of Martinique is a brand new addition to the portfolio of destinations. And Cancun, Mexico alone sees ten flights per week from Germany. For winter deniers who flock to resort areas in the Indian Ocean, there will be a daily flight to Mauritius in winter 2016/17: five per week from Frankfurt and two from Munich. Starting in September, Condor will also increase its flight offer to the Seychelles, with a second weekly flight departing from Frankfurt. And of course there are even more global destinations: Recife, Las Vegas, Capetown, Windhoek, Mombasa and many others can be booked online now. Affordable flights from Munich to Cancun, for example, are available with one-way all-inclusive fares starting at EUR 359.99 in Economy Class, EUR 499.99 Euro in Premium Class and EUR 999.99 in Business Class.
