During flight DE1402 to Fuerteventura, the passengers of <link http: condor.com _blank external-link-new-window external link in new>Germany‘s most popular leisure airline<link http: condor.com _blank external-link-new-window external link in new> have crowned the new Miss Condor. On board were the 24 Miss Germany candidates who were on the way to their preparation camp on the Canarian island.
For the 11th Miss Condor pageant, the aisle of the Boeing 757 was quickly converted into a catwalk. With a front-row view of Germany’s 24 most beautiful women, the passengers voted by ballot for their personal favourites. The 23-year-old Nina Kiehnle from Koblenz prevailed over her fellow competitors and now bears the title of Miss Condor. She succeeds Mareike Kiel from Hesse, last year’s Miss Condor.
“The Miss Condor flight is always a special event for the crew but also for the passengers. So many gorgeous women all at once, everyone in a good mood and the interaction – it all has a certain appeal,” says Condor Purser Dirk Weber, who relived the experience once again and presented the winner’s sash. “Now we’re all excited to find out which of the women will win the big Miss Germany finale. And of course we all hope that Miss Condor will be standing on the winners’ podium. It wouldn’t be the first time.”
Whether the Condor passengers’ favourite can also win over the panel of experts will be seen in the big finale on 20 February 2016 at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany. Before the Miss Germany contest, though, the ladies will undergo intense preparation in the Miss Germany Beauty Camp in Aldiana, Fuerteventura. The programme includes workshops with VIP trainers and photo shoots before they fly back to Germany on 11 February 2016.
