Condor: First aircraft unveiled in a new design

Frankfurt am Main, 30 November 2019 - In future, Condor will take off with its own logo in the tail unit of its aircraft. Yesterday, the new design was unveiled to the employees, and today, the Boeing 767 with the registration D-ABUF will make its first flight in the new Condor look to Cancun in Mexico. In the coming weeks, all tail units will be successively fitted with the new design.

"After the final separation from Thomas Cook, the Thomas Cook logo and the heart logo must be completely removed for trademark reasons," says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor. "After 16 years, the Condor logo will return to the tails of our aircraft, which makes especially every person working for Condor very proud. Condor and our logo is a strong brand that has signified Germany's most popular airline for 64 years."

The tail units of the Condor fleet will be revised with decals in the coming weeks as part of their regular maintenance. Nothing will change in the rest of the paintwork. In future, all Airbus A320, A321, Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 aircraft will take-off with the new Condor design on short-, medium- and long-haul routes.
