Off to Boston: Condor flight DE2038, operated with an A330-200 in a two-class configuration, took off at noon today from Frankfurt bound for the USA. This is the first time that Germany's most popular holiday airline has launched connections to the American metropolis on the East Coast. Effective immediately, flights are now scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The first flight will be welcomed with a local welcome event at the airport, where Ed Freni, Massport's Director of Aviation, will also speak. Among the invited guests are Michael Jürgens, German Deputy Consul General in Boston and Emily Westhoven, Executive Director German-American Business Council of Boston.
Boston is one of the three new destinations in Condor's current summer flight schedule, along with San Francisco and Los Angeles. In total, Germany's most popular holiday airline is flying to 16 destinations in North America this year. Condor is thus offering the largest range of flights to the USA in recent years.
Travel with Condor can be booked with all German tour operators and in travel agencies, and flight tickets are available as usual at www.condor.com and by telephone.
