Together against breast cancer: For the sixth time in a row, Condor is supporting the aviation industry's global initiative FlyPink, which supports organisations worldwide in the prevention, treatment, and research of breast cancer. With pink uniform accessories, crew members express their solidarity with those affected and create awareness for the disease.
Claudia Dorrek, flight attendant at Condor, is taking part again this year: "Affected people not only suffer from the symptoms, but understandably also have fears and worries. I am aware that I cannot take them away with this campaign, but I can show them a little bit that 'you are not alone, you are strong'. I wear my FlyPink scarf for everyone affected to show solidarity and draw more attention to this important issue and its prevention."
Condor cabin crews wear pink ties, scarves and pins in October, cockpit crews swap their epaulettes with gold for those with pink stripes.
