Peter Gerber

Peter Gerber took over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Condor in February, 2024. He is also President of the Federal Association of German Airlines (BDF). 

Prior to this, Peter Gerber held management positions in the Lufthansa Group for over 30 years - including serving on the Executive Board of Lufthansa Airlines, as CEO and CFO of Lufthansa Cargo and most recently as CEO and CCO of Brussels Airlines. He also held the position of Chief Representative for European Affairs at the Lufthansa Group and was President of the German Aviation Association (BDL).
 

Heiko Holm

Heiko Holm is Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Condor. He assumed this position in March 2024. At the same time, he took over the position of the second Managing Director at Condor Technik alongside Ralf Herbig. This makes him responsible for all technical matters at Condor.

Heiko Holm worked for around nine years in various management positions in technical and flight operations at Wizz Air Group, most recently as Officer Central Operations. Prior to that, he held various national and international management positions at Lufthansa Technik for over 15 years.

Dag Jessel

Dag Jessel took over Condor's finance division in July 2026. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he is responsible for the financial management of Condor and also for the areas of Procurement, IT, Data & Analytics, Insurance & Fuel Management.

Dag Jessel brings extensive international experience as a CFO and Managing Director. His career has taken him through a variety of industrial and service-sector companies as well as several international growth and transformation programs. At Lufthansa, he held positions including Director Finance & HR North Asia and roles in Mergers & Acquisitions. Further positions within the Aviation industry included responsibilities in cost management, process optimization and engineering. 

Christian Schmitt

Christian Schmitt is the managing director Operation and Accountable manager at Condor Flugdienst GmbH. He assumed this position in September 2017.

He started his career in 1997 with a study and trainee program at Deutsche Lufthansa AG. Subsequently he acted in various functions as a project and operations manager in Germany and abroad. Later he was heading the introduction of the A380 at Lufthansa´s international airports network.

Outside of Condor, Christian Schmitt is involved voluntarily in the "Deutschlandstiftung Integration" which supports students with a migration background with scholarships.
