Frankfurt am Main, 27May 2019 - For the fourth time in a row, Condor is the most popular leisure airline among Germans. In the representative survey conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) on behalf of n-tv with 1,112 participants, Condor was always ranked among the top 3 in the categories price-performance ratio, reliability, service and recommendation.
"This award means a lot to us because it comes from our customers – they recommend us to friends. This kind of feedback is most valuable as it recognises and appreciates the daily work of so many Condor employees," says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor. "We are proud of the fact that we were able to convince also in the category ‘reliability’, and take this as motivation to even increase our efforts to let the holiday of our guests start aboard our aircraft on time.”
The results of the survey included a total of ten airlines, only half of which were rated "good". Survey participants commented on reliability, value for money, service, flight offerings, annoyances and whether they would recommend the airline. Overall, Condor ranked third behind KLM and Lufthansa.
Condor's sister airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines in the UK and Scandinavia, have also received special awards: The Scandinavian airline was recently named TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Leisure Airline in Europe for 2019. Thomas Cook Airlines in the UK has been in the top ten of the world's best leisure airlines for years already. Over the past six years, Thomas Cook Group Airline's airlines have received nearly 80 awards, many of them from direct customer reviews.
