Condor landed the title of "most popular airline" in a customer satisfaction survey and beat off seven other providers, with a score of 75.4 out of 100 points, with Tuifly and Lufthansa following in 2nd and 3rd place. Air Berlin, Germanwings Turkish Airlines, Easyjet, and Ryanair were also given a place in the ranking. The survey was conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) on behalf of n-tv. Condor has already been voted the number 1 airline with the highest customer satisfaction back in 2012.
Ralf Teckentrup, Managing Director of Condor, is delighted with the award: "We constantly adapt our product, our service and our pitch to our customers’ needs and wishes. Regular customer surveys show widespread popularity and we are delighted with this. The award confirms that we are on the right track and we see it as an incentive to keep our focus on our customers and their wishes in every regard. Very often it is the little things that make a huge difference".
This year, the customers surveyed were very satisfied in particular with value for money. In the categories of service and range of flights, the leisure airline was also ahead of the pack. Condor also had the lowest number of customers who reported a negative experience, at around seven percent and a willingness to recommend the carrier was extremely pronounced.
1407 reviews by customers, who had taken at least one flight in the last twelve months, were included in the on-line survey. Points were awarded in the categories of service, value for money, range of flights and reliability/security and things that annoyed customers as well as how willing they would be to recommend the carrier were also included in the overall rating.
