Condor opens the skies to Cairo

Condor is expanding its international route network and will start offering daily flights from Frankfurt (FRA) to Cairo (CAI) from May 2026. With the addition of the Egyptian capital, the German airline is investing in an economically and culturally significant market in North Africa and the Middle East. The new service will be operated with an Airbus A320. Guests will enjoy comfortable travel with ergonomic seats, a flexible fare concept, and a variety of additional services. Flights will be available for booking starting this week at  www.condor.com, by phone, and at all travel agencies.

“Cairo is a fascinating destination with great economic and cultural importance,” says Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor. “With the new daily connection, we are deliberately investing in a market with long-term potential while further strengthening our position in business, leisure, and connecting traffic through Frankfurt.”
With more than 20 million residents in its metropolitan area, Cairo is one of the most dynamic urban centers in North Africa. The city attracts millions of visitors every year – from the recently opened Grand Egyptian Museum to the iconic Pyramids of Giza or as a starting point for Nile cruises to the Valley of the Kings. With the new connection to Cairo, Condor is consistently pursuing its strategy of strengthening its international route network.
