Condor tightens rules for wearing protective face mask on board

As of September 15, 2020, stricter rules for wearing a mouth and nose protector will apply on board all Condor flights: Anyone who cannot wear a protective face mask for medical reasons must have this certified by a doctor on a pre-filled Condor form available on the website and must also present a negative Covid 19 test result, which must not be older than 48 hours at the time of departure.

"In order to ensure the safety on journeys also in the current time compromiselessly, Condor takes the conversion of the protection and hygiene measures very seriously. In the interests of all of us, everyone on board must comply with the applicable measures and we also ask our guests to behave considerately during their vacation and after their return home," says Christian Schmitt, Condor's Managing Director Operations.

Passengers can download the Condor form at www.condor.com. In May, Condor introduced a mandatory mouth and nose protection for all guests aged six years and older. Exceptions were also previously only possible with a medical certificate, but a negative Covid-19 test result was not necessary until now. With the extended regulations, Condor is underlining its responsibility towards guests and cabin crew and ensuring that everyone on board can start their journey with a good feeling.
