Lighttravel: As of today, the Thomas Cook Group Airline and Germany's most popular leisure airline, Condor, will be offering the Economy Light fare on many long-haul flights from 199.99 Euros per route. Passengers who have booked their flight at the Economy Light fare can take a piece of hand luggage and a personal item (e.g. a handbag or laptop bag) weighing up to six kilograms into the cabin on their flight. In addition, guests conveniently check in online and can go directly to their gate at the airport. Checked-in baggage can be booked from 59.99 Euros. On board the flight, Economy Light customers also enjoy Condor services on board, including standard menus and free non-alcoholic beverages.
"With the extension of the Economy Light fare to our long-haul program, we are offering in particular price-conscious customers lower prices, if they do not need luggage and personal check-in at the airport. We want to give even more customers the opportunity to fly far away with Condor", says Jens Boyd, responsible for Revenue Management and Distributon of the Thomas Cook Group Airline.
The Economy Light fare, which has already been available for four years on Condor short-haul and medium-haul flights, can be booked online for selected long-haul flights from 16 October 2018 at www.condor.com and via travel agencies. It complements Condor's existing Economy Classic and Economy Flex fares. The Economy Flex fare offers travellers the flexibility, for example, to cancel their booking up to 24 hours before departure or to change it free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. All information on the individual fares can be found in the pdf file attached.
