Service Champion, German Fairness Award, Brand of the Year, Best Employer – these are just a few of the awards the employees of Condor and Thomas Cook Group Airlines have received for their work this year. In 2016, the airlines carrying the Sunny Heart have received eleven awards, which takes the total number to 52 awards in the past five years. This record leaves no doubt: Customers are taken well care of at Condor and Thomas Cook Group Airlines!
“These awards make us proud and they clearly show that all the hard work of our employees is noted and honored. They motivate all of us to continue our path and to provide these high standards to our customers also in the future”, explains Christoph Debus, Chief Airlines Officer of Thomas Cook Group. “Most of our guests fly with us to experience great holidays. We know that often the little things make a difference in turning the flight to their destination into a part of their vacation that they look forward to. This differentiates us from other airlines. With us each customer will find the perfect offer and feel welcomed onboard our airplanes. For this, we build on our history and experience of 175 years at Thomas Cook and 60 years at Condor.”
The great variety of awards show that not only the onboard service is excellent: Condor was named “Service Champion” by the German newspaper Die Welt which also takes the service before and after the flight into account. The news channel n-tv analyzed 45,000 customer feedbacks for more than 500 companies and presented the German Fairness Award to Condor for an especially fair and transparent way of dealing with its customers. The magazines FOCUS and WirtschaftsWoche honored the high customer trust Condor which enjoys.
Condor also excelled in a comparison of 100 European airlines by Manager Magazin and received the rating “very good” in five categories – both Business and Economy Class convinced the editors. At the same time the British sister company Thomas Cook Airlines UK received a World Travel Award as Europe’s Leading Charter Airline.
But not only customers value Condor and Thomas Cook Group Airlines. Its staff also attested to the qualities of their employer: The German magazine “Eltern” identified Condor as being one of the best companies for families in the category “Mobility” while FOCUS awarded the “Best Career Opportunities” seal to the leisure airline.
