Condor celebrates inaugural flight to Haikou and expands China offering

Condor celebrated the inaugural flight from Haikou on Friday, 6 February 2026, further expanding its China programme. With the launch of this new service, Condor is serving Haikou Meilan International Airport (HAK) for the first time, the most important international hub of the Chinese island province of Hainan.

The route is operated as a seasonal service twice weekly until 9 March 2026. Flights depart Frankfurt on Sundays and Thursdays, operate via Bangkok (BKK) and arrive in Haikou (HAK) on Mondays and Fridays. With this service, Condor is responding to increased demand around the Chinese New Year period.

By adding Haikou to its network, Condor strengthens its engagement in the Chinese market and further expands its presence on the island of Hainan. Complementing the services to Sanya, which have been offered since July 2025, Condor is creating additional capacity for both leisure and business travel between Europe and China.

Haikou is gaining increasing importance as a key transport hub and tourist centre on the island of Hainan. The new service further enhances Condor’s Asia portfolio and provides travellers and distribution partners with additional travel options to southern China.

Tickets for flights to Haikou are available at www.condor.com, through travel agencies and tour operators.
