Condor flies pink again

October 2, 2023 - For more awareness: this year Condor is once again participating in the global aviation industry initiative FlyPink, which supports organizations worldwide in the prevention, treatment and research of breast cancer. With pink-striped uniform accessories, crew members express their solidarity with those affected and raise awareness of the disease.

Condor flight attendant Ralph Skarbeck: "I’m taking part in the FlyPink campaign because I’m proud that Condor is addressing this, that we’re raising awareness for breast cancer worldwide. I've experienced this myself in my family, and I want to make sure those affected know they're not alone."

"I’m participating in this campaign to create visibility for this disease. I want to encourage men and women to take time for their health, so that this disease doesn't take our time one day. Prevention pays off," says Condor flight attendant Jule Bohnert.

Condor cabin crews are wearing pink ties, scarves and pins during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, and cockpit crews are swapping their gold epaulettes for ones with pink stripes.
