Condor flies weekly non-stop from Frankfurt to Jinan in China

Welcome "Golden Eagle": Condor now flies non-stop from Frankfurt to Jinan in the Chinese province of Shandong every Monday. The first flight already took place this week and was warmly welcomed on site: in Chinese, Condor is called "golden eagle". The connection will be offered every Monday until the end of March, and every Tuesday from April.

The city is the industrial center of Shandong province. It is an important transportation hub halfway between Beijing and Shanghai on the Yellow River. Many German and international companies have settled in and around Jinan. But the area also has much to offer culturally: Nearby Jinan, Mount Tai Shan is the holiest mountain in Taoism and millions of people climb it every year via a staircase with 6,000 steps, and the city of Qufu, where Confucius was born and buried and where, with the Confucius Temple, the largest historical temple complex in China can be visited - only the Forbidden City in Beijing is greater.

Passengers must apply for a health code at the Chinese embassy or consulate in Germany responsible for their place of residence in addition to their visa before departure. Upon arrival in Jinan, they must also complete a two-week quarantine.
