Condor strengthens its North American network with new partner American Airlines

Condor is expanding its international partner network through a new interline partnership with American Airlines. The cooperation will provide travelers with a wide range of new connections across the United States and Canada, making transatlantic travel even more convenient. By linking the two airlines' networks, guests will benefit from a greater choice of destinations and seamless onward connections.

Under the new partnership, Condor guests will gain access to American Airlines' extensive route network with numerous onward connections via Condor's North American gateways in Boston, New York (JFK), Chicago and Los Angeles. At the same time, American Airlines customers will be able to connect via Frankfurt and Munich to Condor’s broad network across Europe and beyond.

"With American Airlines, we are welcoming a strong partner whose network perfectly complements our own and significantly enhances our connectivity across North America," said David Carlisle, Vice President Network Planning & Partnerships Condor. “This partnership strengthens our position in the transatlantic market while offering our guests even more travel options. Together, we are continuing to expand our international network and create attractive travel opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.”

“American’s new agreement with Condor underscores our commitment to connect people with the places that matter most,” said Jeff Ogar, American’s Managing Director of Alliances. “Combining our extensive North American network with Condor’s presence in Germany and Europe creates a winning proposition for our mutual customers. We look forward to working together to deliver more travel options for our customers."

As part of the interline partnership, travelers will be able to book their entire journey across both airlines on a single ticket. Additional benefits include through-checked baggage to the final destination, check-in for the complete itinerary, and seamless onward connections.

Chicago strengthens Condor's growing North American network
With the return of flights between Frankfurt and Chicago from the summer 2027, Condor is further expanding its North American offering with another key destination. At the same time, the new partnership with American Airlines becomes even more valuable, as Chicago O'Hare is one of the carrier's largest hubs, providing convenient onward connections to numerous destinations across the United States and Canada. Together with Condor's gateways in Boston, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, the partnership creates a strong network with seamless access to hundreds of destinations throughout North America.

Expanding Condor's global partnership network
The cooperation with American Airlines marks another important milestone in Condor's international partnership strategy. Building on a successful partnership with Alaska Airlines that has spanned more than ten years, Condor is further expanding its North American partner network.

The partnership with American Airlines further complements Condor's growing global partner network. Most recently, Condor announced a new partnership with Qantas, expanding connectivity across Australia and New Zealand. Together, these partnerships strengthen Condor's global connectivity and offer guests even more seamless travel opportunities worldwide.

The new itineraries are available for booking soon via www.condor.com, through travel agencies, and via additional sales partners. Travelers benefit from the convenience of booking their entire journey on a single ticket, seamless onward connections, and through-checked baggage to their final destination.
